Uruguay Dove Hunting - New Lodges and Season is When?

Check a free weekend to head to Uruguay for the dove hunting. If you want to beat the heat in the US - come during May, June or July and add some Perdiz hunting to your dove hunting package.

Your trigger finger will get some exercise - the day will consist of dove shooting in fields close to the lodge. Which lodge and where is it in Uruguay? Los Gauchos has several, all located on the northwest part of the country. Uruguay has roosts comparable to Argentina and the dove hunting in Uruguay is right on par with Argentina dove hunting.

Uruguay dove hunting: All year round. To add Perdiz hunting please book during May - June - July

Schedule: option of taking advantage of the new direct flight from Miami to Montevideo, Uruguay. This is an overnight flight that arrives in Montevideo in time to be in the fields for dove shooting the first day.

Others may want to experience Buenos Aires, Argentina and can take the hydrofoil to Colonia. The dove hunting lodges are located near Colonia (one hour) and this is the prime location in Uruguay for the dove roosts that are home to millions of eared dove.

Dove Hunting: the schedule will allow the shooters to hunt a 1/2 day on the 1st day and then take on the doves all day for the next 2 days. The final morning you will go to break that record and then head back to either Colonia or Montevideo for your flight back to the U.S.

Lunch is usually served in the fields so you can experience Uruguay. Gauchos, mate, and more. The asado or barbecue is a real treat with the oustanding local beef and fresh vegetables. Uruguay is also home to several vineyards that are a way to relax after a day of Uruguay dove hunting.
